Streaming services can't buy a spot here.
That was the whole reason I built it. Every TV home screen I owned had a finger on the scale: a sponsored tile, a promoted show, a nudge toward whoever paid for the spot.

Google TV's stock home screen: the top of it is for sale.
Bitflinger TV: your rows, in the order you chose.
No ads
Not on the home screen, not between rows, not on a title page. Nothing in Bitflinger TV is an ad.
Nobody pays to be first
Rows are sorted by popularity, release date, user score or critic score, and you pick which. No service can pay to move its shows up.
Just me
Bitflinger TV is one person. Subscribers keep it going, which is the only reason it doesn't need advertisers. The free version is the real app, not a demo.
On Google TV, it can be your home screen
On Google TV and Android TV, Bitflinger TV can replace the launcher and start when the TV does, so the Home button takes you to your shows instead of an ad. On Apple TV, iPhone and the web, it's the app you open first.
